Super Amigos:
A Group for Community Action

The group will meet every other month to exchange ways to help others in our community. At each meeting members will learn of specific needs and hardships that need to be addressed and how we can use our own skills to come up with the remedies. This is an opportunity for people to make a difference in other people's lives and to have a positive impact in our community. First meeting will take place in March. Everyone is encouraged to come to the screening of Super Amigos to get inspired and hear from a grassroots organizer. All ages encouraged and welcome.

Men Who Cook
Men Who Cook is the largest annual fundraising event for the Women & Family Life Center and ensures the continuity of its programs for women and families living on the shoreline.

Annual Women's Health Conference
Each spring, the WFLC's Annual Women's Health Conference provides a day of fun, relaxation and fellowship for women in our community while educating them about major health issues with a focus on body, mind and spirit.

SAVE THE DATE! Our 2009 Annual Women's Health Conference will be held on Sunday, March 15th, with a Saturday night preconference on March 14th at the Mystic Marriott.
